Thailand -OK Place

Maybe after Kuala lumpur , i was expecting a good place , but bangkok didnt match up. Relatively cheaper but language problems among other things was evident right from the time i landed.Had an ok time in Bangkok , a very intresting place to say the least with prostitutes hanging around at most streets , massage parlours to "massage"and some other stuff too , . Since most of the days were lined up with meetings , couldnt find 1 full day off to head out of bangkok like pataya , phuket and other places . Sight seeing was limited to couple of places , had real difficulty finding indian restaurants here which was surprising. Yesterday had free time and went to see Real madrid v/s Thailand match , didnt know when i will get another oppurtunity to see an international match. Great atmosphere and had lot of fun . Clicked snaps of the stars of RM from some distance in the stand , upload them later. Next up Singapore .

Rock n Roll - 1

Rock Star INXS . A new reality tv show im looking forward to . INXS was a great band with Michael Hutchence . His death marked the death of the band . Or we thought so . Now , the band is using reality tv to pick a new lead singer for the band. No one can fill those awesome boots of hutchence but its a great concept and going by the promos , it should rock . Hopefully , it should match the hype created and INXS rock again . From the promos , female singers are also gonna take part which is good for music , i feel they can really add a different and personal touch to the genre of rock and metal . Right from early years of Janis Joplin to Amy Lee , we have seen good talent emerge but no one which has taken music by the scruff of its neck and knoced us over compared to the guys . If this is successful , who knows ... we might see comback of bands like Queen and so many others who didnt see their prime . Many people would not be happy with such a move but history will look as it is - Commercialization of the art of making music.

Last Thursday , there was a show arranged by Record Magazine in mumbai featuring top rock n metal bands at Mikanos . It was a good awesome show , thanks to the place which was cramped up with around 1000 real people and around 500 others who thought " Where is the DJ tonight " ;-) . Anyways , the ladies were out in full force to support the scene :-) . We even saw a female mosh pit LOL ... a decent effort i must say compared to male counterparts which even saw " wall of death" among the moshers , couple of injuries , bleeding mouths , broken bones ... mumbai has violent people :-)

Ive been listening to
Orbituary latest album - Frozen in Time . Intresting name . This album kicks serious ass of other acts . Worth listening to over and over again.

Other stuff i got latest:

Oasis - Don't Believe The Truth --- Nothing like the oasis of before but a decent album ,this one seriouslly reminds me of Beatles

Coldplay - X & Y --- Well after their great debut , they had to raise the bar or atleast try to match it and they have done the latter . Great album to listen to with the lights way down late night . Awesome band.

Audioslave - Out of Exile --- Much slower than previous stuff and its a good Rock album .We still have to see the best from them.

Alanis Morissette Acoustic Sessions --- This Girl rocks , all her hits acoustic , what more do you want . Rock on

Queen Live Wembley 1986 - Great concert ,One of the best ever .

Rock on \_/
