Pet Peeves Tag :-)

God Bless Ranjhu for such a lovely tag, that too 20 of em :-P

1. Lazy slackers in life , work and especially the shops and stores . If you dont attend to me quick , im out of there.
2. People dancing in a metal concert.
3. Throwing garbage , spitting everywhere on roads
4. People who think they are superior to others and actually show it in their behaviour
5. Potholes and constant digging of roads
6. Cell phone loudspeaker mouths
7. Jargons n the experts at it
8. Generalization of black tshirts , blue jeans , long haired guys to be junkies , trouble makers etc etc . How we prove them wrong.
9. People who actually find you useful when they neeed help.
10.Seeing top level company officials stoop down to vegetable vendor levels when negotiating a deal with them.
11.Those banks and credit card offers on my cell... F O ...i already have it .
12.Critics an their "expert" views.
13.People who say you are wrong without any justifications
14.People who consider your friendship as just being a phase in their life because we just happen to be there at the same time.
15.Honking specialists on roads and bullock cart drivers in their stretch 4 wheelers.
16.People who criticize particular kind music in whichever form it is and do not accept other genres as others music
17.Crybabies who think life is only bad to them.
18.Pessimists who think it cannot be done and especially telling me " You cant do that , its not possible "
19.People not giving back to society.
Last but not least , the worst one
20.Girls with attitude and the attention whore kinds.

Small Little Traditions Loosing Out

Today is my mom's birthday . So I went to Archies gift store to get a card and a gift for her. This shop is quite big , probably the biggest in mumbai . Rows and Columns of cards ... New Year , Christmas , Friendship , Proposals etc . I was searching around my Mother bday cards , finally found them in one corner , one single column of cards , next to Father Bday cards.

So I asked the pretty sales girl " why there are so less card for mother and fathers bday " . Her reply was intresting " Nobody nowdays buys cards for them ( moms n dads ) . This bunch of cards have been around for 4 months. In fact all the cards you see for new years are leftovers , we already had ordered lesser than usual , still they didnt sell enough as we thought "

Sending Virtual cards when you are miles away from love ones is acceptable , but to see the small tradition of going to the gift shop to buy a card for your parents vanishing slowly is not . We will happily buy a huge card for her [ or you know the consequences ;-) ] , but not for parents , uncles and aunties ?

I guess the traditions are changing with times.
