Resurrection 5 - Back with a Bang

The mother /father of all gigs was back to the place it belongs - Razzbery Rhinoceros. The place looks good now , little more room on the floor , gave it much more larger feeling i.e more bodies on the floor. The gig was charged up since days and everyone just couldnt wait fot the gig. So loaded with ethyl aclohol & a small army of men & women, we marched to the place.

The gig was a brutal gig. Mumbai raises the bar again of how insane & brutal a music show can be. A Death/Black metal gig got ugly in no time. With the breaking of barriers to throwing out people from the place , it had it all. Demonic resurrection , Kryptos & Myndsnare were the great bands that they are but the band IIIrd Soverign from Aizwal were the best band of the day . The vocalist was awesome with absolute wonderful covers of Carcass , Death . A small set which really raises the bar for a death metal band on stage. The big moshpit & the headbanging females in the front of the stage made the band much more charged & give a great performance.

The sound on stage & in the audience was great and the jam packed place was a testament to the needs of more such gigs in Mumbai , the capital of Metal in India \m/
