Vacation Time Baby
Wow it has been long since i blogged ,totally responsible for the laziness on my part.
Im finally going on a full time vacation this weekend i.e only 9 days i could manage to get out of the schedule .No more usual faces , usual routine and im eagerly awaiting to leave Mumbai and get the hell out of here . Going with a good friend of mine to DUBAI , it should be a blast with boys toys shopping , rocking sand dune driving and just travelling around and just chilling in a hot place ;-) . Got a great deal of 8,000 bucks for a return flight to Sharjah ala online bidding of Indian Airlines . While even i was hesitant if it would work , thankfully the whole process was a chill all at the comfort of home via internet :-)
This whole month i have just done 2 things , work and more work . Since i knew the vacation is coming up , i had to settle everything before leaving . Now its just pack my bags and kiss this town goodbye for 9 days , im all excited to go on a vacation especially since its after 6 long hard years.
Recently Ive indulged in discovering different styles of music . From the likes of legendry Pandit Ravishankar to ghazals of the beautiful voice of Mehndi Hassan to deep thought provoking lyrics of Bruce Springsteen to the absolutely honest Alanis Morissette . Some years back I would hesistate to listen to anything other than good old metal but when i listened to such stuff which i got from here and there , i realised im missing out on some good stuff . Music is in my blood and infact it enhances my creativity when i try to understand lyrics of these people , dont ask me how . When i need new ideas or having a block or just tired from a daily routine and need to revitalise myself , i put on something intresting to listen to and voila, im back up ... so discovering new styles has been rewarding , Thanks to A :-) .
Today was the last day when the Original NASEOH group had our final session . Wayne would be moving to IIM I and Vish to IIM A . PG , Simba , Me and Wayne have been there right from the begining and Vish joined in later who have been regular to NASEOH week in and out and taught 3 batches till now and had a good time each n every week teaching students and then enjoying later over a cup of coffee , so in ways this is an end of a great association with a great group and with Simba leaving in couple of months to Duke , it would be the end of a small era :-( . On a brighter note, we now have new members who have come in and contributing to the cause and hopefully have more members joining in to keep our small effort going and hopefully building new association with people but Im sure it wont be like the Original group [ taps a cup of coffee with others ;-) ]
